Vocational Work Scholarship
The Vocational Work Scholarship was created by an anonymous donor to assist a disadvantaged student at Great Falls High School (GFHS) or Paris Gibson Education Center (PGEC) who wants to pursue a career in the technical/vocational field (i.e. electrical, automotive, HVAC). The donor is a Great Falls High graduate who found a path to obtaining a degree by attending both junior and 4-year colleges. This individual also obtained several forms of financial aid to help achieve this goal.
This $1,500 scholarship may be used to pay for expenses related to tools and equipment for students entering the workforce upon graduation or for expenses related to tuition, books and materials for students pursuing post-secondary training in a vocational, technical, university, or college setting. The scholarship may be awarded to male or female students; however, preference will be given to females pursuing careers in the trades (i.e. technical/vocational field).
Scholarship Requirements
1. Must be a senior at Great Falls High School or Paris Gibson Education Center.
2. Must be pursuing a career in the technical/vocational field.
3. Must have a GPA of 2.0 or above.
4. Must demonstrate financial need.
