Dolores Frisbee Memorial Scholarship
Dolores Frisbee was born in Great Falls on January 17th, 1936. She proudly attended and graduated from Great Falls High School (Class of 1954), where she was a member of the Latin Club, Ushers, and Library Club.
Dolores never shied away from hard work. Her first job was at GFH where she worked in the library and learned to repair books. Her first official job was at Killorns, (former downtown department store for women) and later at the Paris (Macy’s).
She married Floyd Frisbee in Great Falls on November 13th, 1966. Floyd was already an established farmer and Dolores gladly jumped in and worked on the farm. Dolores knew that hard work was important, but an education was also valuable. She chose that upon her passing a $1,000 (renewable for two years) scholarship would be established that provided some financial support to students wishing to work hard and pursue a college degree.
Scholarship Requirements:
1. Must pursue a traditional 2 or 4-year college, in Montana
2. Must be a Great Falls High graduate
3. Must have a minimum 2.5 GPA
