David J. Delcomte Memorial Scholarship
The essence of this award is to provide a scholarship opportunity to students who have proven to be hard-working, selfless, respectful, honorable, encouraging to others and a leader—qualities that David Delcomte, a senior at C.M. Russell High School who passed away in 2019, embodied throughout his life. This $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to a C.M. Russell or Great Falls High School student who can demonstrate through a 500-word essay that they meet the merits of this character-based scholarship. Applicant must also possess a 3.0+ cumulative GPA, have been involved in extra-curricular activities (preference will be given to students involved in HOSA), and must provide two letters of recommendation from someone other than a family member.
Scholarship Requirements
1. Applicant must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.00.
2. Applicant must demonstrate school involvement through extra-curricular activities. Preference to students involved in HOSA.
3. Applicant must attach two letters of recommendation from two non-family members.
4. Applicant must write an approximately 500-word essay describing how you demonstrate the merits of this scholarship—hard-working, selfless, respectful, honorable, encouraging to others and a leader.
