The Foundation is a catalyst for enhancing high-quality educational opportunities in Great Falls. These programs exist because donors want to make a difference in the lives of students and teachers. Our entire community reaps the benefits.
Scholarships
Great Falls families, alumnus and organizations generously fund yearly scholarships to graduating high school seniors. The Foundation is proud to administer these 100+ local scholarships representing about $374,000 in awards each year. The scholarships are awarded to best reflect the wishes of the donors and the needs of students.
Teacher Grants
The Foundation awards yearly grants and continuing education scholarships to GFPS teachers. Applications for consideration are accepted beginning in December and close in February. Dedicated, independent selection committees review the applications and choose the winners. Our support of teachers enhances educational excellence and assists in their future success.
Facility Enhancements
Great Falls voters were generous in supporting a bond issue for school construction projects. The Foundation is proud to add value to that effort by facilitating private donations to furnish and equip the new spaces and to refurbish existing spaces. Philanthropic families and businesses are creating a legacy of educational excellence through their gifts.
Student & Teacher Recognition
